1. General Refund Policy

Customise Your Trip understands that travel plans may change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair while accounting for the commitments we make to our travel partners on your behalf.

Important: All refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of our travel partners (airlines, hotels, local operators) and may incur additional cancellation charges.

2. Cancellation Timeline & Charges

3. Special Circumstances

Medical Emergencies:

  • Medical certificate from a registered doctor required
  • Refund subject to travel insurance coverage
  • Processing fee of ₹5,000 will be deducted

Visa Rejection:

  • Original visa rejection letter required
  • Service charges and processing fees non-refundable
  • Airline and hotel cancellation charges apply

Force Majeure Events:

  • Natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemic
  • Government travel restrictions
  • Refunds subject to supplier policies
  • Credit notes may be offered for future travel

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Visa processing fees
  • Travel insurance premiums
  • Service charges and consultation fees
  • Third-party booking fees
  • Processing and administrative charges

5. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Submit a written cancellation request via email
  2. Provide booking reference and reason for cancellation
  3. Submit required supporting documents (if applicable)
  4. Our team will review and process your request
  5. Refund will be processed within 15-20 business days

Note: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method only. Bank processing times may vary and are beyond our control.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against:

  • Trip cancellation or interruption
  • Medical emergencies
  • Flight delays and missed connections
  • Lost or stolen luggage
  • Personal liability coverage
