RequiredAt least 6 months validity from date of travel with minimum four blank visa pages. Passport should be valid for at least 188 days on date of submission. Old passport required.

Required1 Online visa application form https://www.visaforchina.cn/DEL3_EN/qianzhengyewu (photograph on page 1 and 2 should be absolutely clear; no printing lines on the photo while printing the form).

Important Notes
- • The Embassy of China has started issuing some visas with limited stay/validity (e.g., < 3 months validity, < 30 days stay). Submit actual travel itinerary.
- • If passport is issued outside the jurisdiction of Delhi Embassy, additional documents: Company ID, Company NOC (with working address), and a National Identity Card for Delhi jurisdiction; otherwise apply as per jurisdiction rules.
- • Photo specifications: Colour photo within last 6 months, 35mm x 45mm, 80% face coverage, WHITE background, no white clothes, on GLOSSY paper only (Matte/Semi Matte not accepted). Eyeglasses allowed except thick-rimmed/tinted/glare; no reflection.
- • Jurisdiction notes: Maharashtra, Karnataka – Apply in MUMBAI; Orissa, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar – Apply in KOLKATA; Rest can apply in Delhi.
- • No urgent submission for foreign passport holders. Foreign passport holders' Indian visa should be valid for at least 6 months.
